THE MIGRATION

1947

My father, Late Shri Ashok Saluja, was born in undivided India. He was a young child of 3–4 years when he witnessed the horrific Partition of our country and was forced to migrate with just his grandmother and very little resources to survive. But with his strong will and her blessings, he not only survived — he lived life to the fullest, for as long as he lived.

THE BEGINNING

1982

The humble beginning of Ecko Electronics — started by manufacturing speakers for radio and black-and-white televisions from the rooftop of a New Delhi residence. Founded by my father, Late Shri Ashok Saluja.

THE DISSOLUTION

1995–1996

Ecko Electronics, a partnership firm between my father and uncle, was dissolved amicably. This turning point pushed me — KaranRAJ Saluja — to step into the family business and support my dear father, even as I was still in my 12th Standard.

THE DIVERSIFICATION

1996–1998

Like every young person with a dream, I was passionate, creative at heart, and full of energy. I wanted to diversify into something new — so after a lot of hustle, I launched a new range of 2.0 multimedia speakers, popular with desktop users in those days, under the brand names Honda, Cocun, and Force. Alongside, I pursued my Bachelor's degree through distance learning from Delhi University.

THE SCALE

1998–2007

With the zeal to expand and grow further, we began manufacturing home theater speaker systems and successfully launched many models featuring the latest technology — rare in those times. We were among the first to introduce a 5.1 Speaker System built using Embedded Technology — a proud milestone. During this period, we also worked as an ancillary unit for several well-known homegrown audio brands.

THE EXPLORATION

2007–2017

I took a deliberate break from electronics manufacturing and ventured into the Information Technology space, successfully running an outsourcing development centre for renowned North American companies.

BIRTH OF DRUMZZ

2018

My love and passion for electronics and audio pulled me back — and this time, DRUMZZ was born. We began with manufacturing 4.1 multimedia speaker systems and soon expanded into new categories: Bluetooth portable speakers, headphones, TWS earbuds, and our popular multifunctional Trek Series speakers. Whatever we create, one thing remains non-negotiable at our core — quality.

PRESENT DAY 2026

Continuing the legacy of Ecko Electronics, we proudly introduce the Eckowoods Series — a premium Home Speaker System. Built with precision and passion, it is designed to transform everyday listening into a truly immersive experience.
